Are dogs allowed?

This is a dog friendly campground however, they must be leashed or on a run at all times.

Am I going to be cold?

This is a personal question and in all honesty, it depends on your temperature preferences.  The answer is - LAYERS

During the day, it may be warm; at night, it probably won't be.  New England is notorious for wild weather shifts.  There's a reason why they say, "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes".

Sleeping bags, long sleeve shirts/sweatshirts, rain jacket, and lighter weight items (shorts, tanks tops, tee shirts, etc.) are all good. Remember cotton absorbs water and does not dry well (that means denim while comfortable should not be your go-to).

FYI - 2016 it was hot and humid; 2017 it POURED.  Be prepared.  Google is your friend if you need a camp packing list.

Is this a REAL camping event?

YES!  YES! YES!

You are going to be outdoors, in New Hampshire, near mountains, with nature and wildlife, all weekend.

Please bring some type of shelter (i.e. a tent or plan to sleep in your car), a sleeping bag or something like that, things to make your meals (things to make fire and to cook on fire), things to eat your food with, things to clean your campsite and yourselves (see below on showers), a cooler for your food and drinks, a flashlight/torch (headlamps, etc.), bring water shoes and flip flops (river and shower), and anything you think you need to survive.

The Google is a fantastic for finding checklists, etc.  and your welcome email, had a link to REI.com.

SHOWERS - bring quarters.  There are great showers available at the campsite near where we are.
